Hot Rods Salt Flat Hot Rods picture thread..

    can we start a picture thread on traditional dry lakes hot rods? old photos, new photos what ever you got. i want to see what the guys run out there, me and my dad are gonna start on a salt flats model a coupe.

    Doubt if it will ever make it back to the salt, but my 27 on 32 rails was lots of fun.

    Okay, I'm subscribing to this one for sure.
    Chrisman coupe, Green Grenade on the salt, and I'm not sure about the third, just love the photo...a HAMBer I think.

    I sorta want to use that theme on my present build.. Single seat, single roll bar, moon tank, pressure pump, push bar, door lettering, etc.....

    Rather than look at a bunch of pictures of cars that ran in the past you would be well advised to purchase a rulebook. Then you can discover what is/is not allowed currently.

    This Months "Spirit Magazine", inflight magazine of Southwest Airlines has a nice writeup on Bonneville, as well as pics of the Rolling Bones "59c" car, and Bad Bobs Shop Truck with the "Old Crow Speed Shop" logo. 'bout time there was something besides origami in there!
    Seems Salt Fever has got everybody in it's grip!
