I spaced & forgot to post some pictures of the rest of the quarter repair on the 64 Fairlane. This is what we started with the customer thought we would have to replace the panel. Notice the door gap is ugly also.

This is after a few hr's of hammer dolly & shrink disc work.

    DSCN7609.JPG
We found another door then welded up the trim holes & filled the door lock hole that was in the wrong spot.
    DSCN7610.JPG
    Door gap is nice now.
    DSCN7611.JPG
Finished & ready for pick up.
    DSCN7612.JPG
More on other projects to come.

Nice work! How much grief did you have to get the dolly or hammer inside that 1/4 panel to get it straight?

More progress on the 57 Pontiac after coming back from the blast shop. Looks like there just might be a build change now more to come on that later. Now here is what was done this week.
Finished welding & grinding the right front floor pan.
    DSCN7769.JPG
Por 15 coat the seam area.
    DSCN7770.JPG
The underneath was also por 15 coated then the next day seam sealer was applied.
    DSCN7777.JPG
    DSCN7778.JPG
Ah the low quality crapola floor pan from AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR the owner supplied.
    DSCN7773.JPG
After some rebeading & serious reshaping it is starting to look correct.
    DSCN7785.JPG
A little test fit & some more tweaking.
    DSCN7774.JPG
    Old panel rough cut out.
    DSCN7782.JPG

    More to come.

We had a 36 chev coupe come in with a crunch in the left front fender & broken bumper mount bracket. We are just doing a quick pound out & repair on the fender then put it in dp90 & fix the bumper problem for now then after the winter starts the car will come back in for quite a few things to fix, repair or change to make it a better driving car for the women owner.

The 36 chev is back on the road now till mid or end of October then it will be coming back for a lot of rebuild. The fender was only repaired enough so the owner could driver her rod thru the rest of the summer.
