So, here's the story. I stopped by a friend's shop to visit and he was cleaning up his shop area. He asked me if I wanted to buy a few engines. Next thing I know, I'm the proud owner of 33 flathead V8's. Most of them are 59's and 8BA's, but there are a few 21 studs. I have about half of them moved out at this point, but there is alot of logistics in moving that many engines. Now I just have to figure out what to do with them and where to store them.

With the rapidly diminishing numbers of this entity, you have struck a bonanza.
I had a large number of 8CM Mercurys and 8BA Fords along with some 59 L, 59 Z, and 59 AB engines, and they were a wealth of cores for a few years.
This is a great find, don't let the computer jockeys rain on your run.

Biggest concern is organization and cataloging. The ones with brains will be your best customers.

I paid him, but he gave me a very good price on them. Buying in bulk is the best way to go.

I think that they will be a good source for parts, cores, etc. I am working on building storage for them. With any luck I will be starting to disassemble and organize them by early next summer.

I'm pretty sure that I know a guy that just bought an A that needs a V8.

I haven't really thought about selling yet, it will just be nice to have them as a resource. I will just be glad to have them out of his driveway. Like I said, he is cleaning up the place and I feel bad making him trip over them. My poor old half ton truck really squats down with four of those heavy critters in the back and my place is a 25 minute drive away.
