This truck is just awesome! It's how I envision my 54 Ford C-600 to turn out. Nice, fairly low and a little understated. I really like the two tone paint too. Great job!

i used a '72 international travelall, lengthed it 20 inches, w.b. Is 116, same as a 72 cadillac 4 door, fits in regular parking spot , has p.s. P.d.b. Torsion bar front suspension. And works well. Its a big old rat, put together in 1985.. 396 auto, behind cab. Flatbed, that tilts.

Somewhere in there I should have told you it is a 1950 Ford Cab-Over..

Watched "Storage Wars" last night and Barry the Collector rolled in with a Oval grilled Ford COE. If the white walls were removed it would be a good looking truck. Does anyone have any details on it?

Here are some pics from a local show last month, this is one of the latest creations of the Blastolene Bros. They made the giant roadster with the tank engine that Leno purchased and the pissed off Pete raw aluminum Perterbuilt truck.

    This is still under construction....wild!

I raised the visor mounting brackets an inch and 1/4. I think it looks better and now it feels like a driving a car with a 3 inch chop as opposed to a 5 inch chop. ;)

I found A GMC Crewcab Carhauler photo in A othere thread.
The photo was placed by 53choptop in Hotrod semis for a car hauler.

Saw this one this past Saturday while driving the back roads of Austin, Texas, use to belong to a repo company in Jerrell.

Ive got a 1950 gmc 600 its not a COE, but i wanted to know if i put it on a 1 ton frame would the fenders be too wide and look weird with the wheels?? Do you change the front fenders on a COE when you put it on a 1 ton chassis??

Stock fenders on my truck as most are. Best way to tell is take a measurement from the outside of the tires on your 600 and compare to the same type chassis you plan on buying. On both the COEs I have built, the tire clearance was a bit close, but clear OK as the 16 inch tires take far less space than the 20 inch did. Hope this helps.

From fender to fender on my 600 it measures 8 feet wide!! and i was gonna put it on a 80s chevy 1 ton frame, which measures almost 6 feet wide... I think my fenders are too wide for the frame..... :( whats the most popular 1 ton frame people put COEs on anyway??

I have one of my 1952 Ford COE's on a 1989 Chevy 3500 series Dually crew cab frame with a 5.9****mins diesel behind the cab in a 13ft. 8in. bed...the second one is on a 1979 Chevy 1/2 ton frame with COE standard placement of a 350 Chevy engine. My latest one is getting placed on a 1970 El Camino Chevy frame so I can lower the ride with coil springs back and front.
The Front fender openings on my most recent COE looked too large for the tires, so We, (Dale Stanly's Body and fender and wayward lady's establishment in Albany, OH.) fabricated a forward fender well 7" pie shaped patch, which closed the radius down and made the appearance somewhat better...I hope!

    Lookin good, Griffdaddy!
I thought the same about the wheel openings.

I can't think of the number of times I've gone right past this thread, thinking to myself, COE,why??
Then, one day, I thought to myself, why not check it out?
After getting through all of the pages on here, I realize how blind I was. There's some neat stuff being done out there and I'm missing it all.
Props to all those that have posted pics here-you may have got an old fart motivated to build something again!!
