I guess I should have refrained from the Why is it? thread. Sorry if I screwed that up. Mike

I'm another guy that spends a lot of time here but I don't post often. On this site, like any forum, there's wheat, chaff, and popcorn. Lots of wheat here like build threads and solid tech. LOTS of chaff here also, like the guy who posts "I don't like this thread cuz I came here to get away from threads like this." Guess that's why threads have a title in the index, so you can pick those you wish to read. Then there's popcorn, we all love us a little corn now and then, right? Kinda like the sbc vs. flathead recently. Fun! Ya just gotta separate the wheat from the chaff and enjoy a bowl of corn with your favorite beverage now and then!

i tried to tell you all that i was sorry for the rant, i even asked that my post be put back up so i could, all it was , was a subject that i thought we could discuse , but it got out of hand, and for that i do appoligize, it turned personel and that was not what i was looking for or thought that would come at me, i may not know these guys like you have gotten to know them, i have many friends who may not be the best speller's or the best in ? but what i don't do is make their flaw a tool to make them look like they know nothing,OR MYSELF better, those who think they are perfect should be careful to never be wrong. (I WAS WRONG)
    thanks for you time.

  8. Type a word that's spelled incorrectly. It should be underlined in red. Right click on the word and a drop down will appear offering you a list of possible words. Click on the correct word and it will appear, corrected, in your post. Works on both my PC and Mac.

That is not a part of this site. It is a part of your web browser.

Yes. If you think my posts suck, you should have seen the crap I delete instead of posting.

  11. Ahhh. I did not know that. I stand corrected.

    Yes, by your web browser.;)

By-the-way, you can add words to the dictionary, for instances when a term in is not in there.

I'm guessing ( cause I didnt do it ) your stuff got deleted because of the Drama.

We dont mind the occasional cussword.
( they have their place in a diverse vocabulary )

    Except for namecalling.

Just a FYI to try and help you...

I just keep it on topic to original poster comment.

Theres lots of stupid shit that fills the threads but its the moderators job to police it, If I comment on the stupid shit then Im just adding to the problem and clogging up the thread.

I've been on HAMB for a few years. Mostly in the background. Have posted a few times to honestly try to give someone some info that may actually help them. I have had my own shop for the last 18 years and feel as though I just might have a couple of good answers. The ones that get me are those post whores with thousands of posts and don't have fuck worthwhile to say and you assholes know who you are. They really piss me off. Now I'll get off my soap box and fade back into the background thank you very much.

Yes and no. There are far too many threads and way too members for the moderators to see and police everything. We need to do our part to keep on-topic, even if that means NOT POSTING.

1 star from me, having been here since 2008 which is the same amount of time ive seen other "popular" members rack up their post count with one word replies, I definatly hold back most of my replies.
Most of the people posting in this thread are "The armchair army who chime in...Saying this sucks or that."
Having a high post count doesnt make your opinion any more valid, Ive found members with high post counts only seem to come out to post shit & drag threads down.
