After reading this and reading several other threads today, its really hard to hold back. There is just way too much bullshit going on this week!...I know I come across as a ball busting sarcastic wiseass most of the time but I think theres a time and place and I hope I dont cross that line, I know I did once (completely by mistake) and explained myself and all was cool...cuz when it comes down to it I spend way too much time here trying to take in as much as I can and i would like the help when I need it.
I may not be "balls deep" yet but more like "mid thigh":D

  2. YES I DO! I delete/edit ALOT of my own posts before they hit the board.

There is a reason why some people have 18,000 + posts.......No self monitoring....

Maybe we should restrict anyone with more than 2000 posts. Obviously they couldn't know WTF they are talking about as they are way over the top in the amount of time they spend here and not in the garage or shop turning wrenches. I have no respect for the HAMB post whores or for what they have to say. Over 10,000 posts, give me a fucking break!!!!!!!!

It's ok we don't respect you either...

But seriously there are some very talented folks with pretty high post counts that share a lot and do a lot. And to count them out with a blanket statement like that is pure bullshit. And your attitude sucks. To make the remark about those of us that have fairly large post counts not spending enough time in the garage and turning wrenches, well bite me... and post up you shit, or have you still not figured out how to post pics?

I could be out in the garage for 16 hours a day, everyday. I could also come inside after the 16th hour, open the HAMB, and read 10 threads, and post an answer on each one. That's 10 posts a night, for every night, that's 3650 posts a year. In 10 years, that's 36,500 posts. Just sayin'

    Da'am! I guess that's tellin'em!!

  7. I usually re-read an entry before posting. Unless the post is supporting the hobby and HAMB friendly, why knock it

Never hold back on a reply....... This board was started for traditional hot rodding. 85% of the posts on this site these days have nothing to do with it. And mostly have to do with somebody complaining that they got their feelings hurt or ask dumb questions that have been covered time and time again.
So, posts by guys such as Loudpedal, Chris, Bruce Lancaster etc etc...... Give us all something to learn.
Posts about Motor choice, mustang IIs, and guys who want to show off the new whitewalls on their stock 4 door pontiac's tourque thrusts give us something to do.

I don't either, but in honour of being drunk and 6-9 hrs ahead of you guys, and because this thread will be closed, I will kindly remind you to remember dryer sheets. They'll increase the value, but not as much as the the original Cadillac jack. That is IF you want to sell it, but if not, it might be worth more. Or less, it depends.

10,000 post can be done with 27.397 post a day in a year. That's a lot of post welcoming people to the hamb or giving the that-a-boy.

I to get a little chuckle out of the guys with 5,000 posts and a join date of 2010. But I take everyone by what they add. Just because your not in the garage grinding away doesn't mean you don't know what your talking about. And it's just damn good entertainment!

*** Some guys are probably like the kid in high school that always finished his test an hour before everyone else and sat there singing to himself. That kid usually got an A too!

I guess I should have held back posting on this thread too. Because this didn't add anything and is really just common sense.

I like the hamb police who believe that something you said was "causing drama" which THEY have misconstrued . And you get a warning over something some little bitch think you said or meant. And there really isn't any right of reply, you just got to wear it

The HAMB Grammar Police is what drives me nuts. Somebody asks a legitimate question, but misspells words, or uses incorrect grammar and 15 guys jump in to call the guy a "dumb ass", or ask him "how far he got in school", or "how could he afford such a nice car being so dumb?"

Life is too short for such bullshit.

    It's ridiculous.

Many times. I try to add a possible solution without getting into the drama.

    Yep...

Or you send the Mod a P/M and calmly explain the misunderstanding.
( or to Ryan who has the last say in any of this )

If there really was a misunderstanding you'll get your points reversed.

A 19 yr talkin at the drive in., "man I sure would like to get one of those new powerpack Chevys'. I heard that Hopkins 296" roadster got blown away by one. I,m sick and tired of my flathead heating up, buying transmissions, and changing axles on my Duece, I,m thinking about getting one of them new Chevy engines, heard they bolt in, also want a Lasalle box, and 57 Ford rear end. Also thinkin of a 50 Merc x member, hey do you know anyone that does welding? [ the way we were in 58]

The most amazing HAMB post I've read to date was about Curb Feelers. I couldn't believe how anyone could install junk like that on a Hot Rod. I've never even seen them on a Hot Rod. They are reserved for Gook Wagons and installed in conjunction with lighted hood swans, screw on fake port holes, back window venetian blinds, red jeweled mud flaps, window dingle berries, fuzzy dice, unhooked up lakes pipes, fake spot lights and other bolt on go fasters.

  24. I try to help guys out,any chance I get. BUT! I have been know to bust guys balls sometimes, usually on Friday nights, hahaha! I have even removed my posts after realizing I was WAAAAAAY out of line. The only guy I ever had any issues with here was BigDaddy, but he's no longer with us,and have since, shook hands and moved on.
As far as post count goes, mine are mmostly from posting pics....

  26. Probably the thing that sets me off the most is pic's from shows of cars that DON'T belong on the HAMB. Then some dumbass spouts off with "hey,we're all cars guys here..." NOPE! We are supposed to be "Traditional" cars guy on here!
    Sorry....had to rant,hahaha!
