Anyone around Allentown know where to get a car weighed? Preferably at each wheel. T-bucket if it matters. Thanks, Bill
I've used grain elevators and s**** yards in the past. The ones around here usually leave the scales on all night.
Ask a roundy-pounder. They weigh their individual wheels for weight adjustments. They consider themselves hot rodders. (and lots of hot rodders would love to consider themselves racers) So, there is a kinship.
Cat certified truck scales will give you the overall weight, too, last time I had a trailer weighed it cost me $9.
LongT,I'd take a trip to Grandview on a saturday nite and check with some of the modified guys there. Maybe one of them might know someone or somewhere to help you out.....Rich
Thanks for all the ideas. Going to each wheel may be overkill. I just want to get a better idea of weight for the spring rate of rear coil overs. The Air Ride spring rate calculator says to weigh at each wheel. They also say weighing a 2000 lb or so car on a scale for a big rig may not be very accurate. Front and rear and divide is probably close enough. It's only a T-bucket. Bill
