Yes, 42 years in a row for me! Swap Meet spots are C4J-41-42 same as last year, Brookville Roadster is my nextdoor neighbor. I'll have a HAMB Banner for all to sign. You can leave parts in my spot to save a mid day trip to your car and loss of shopping time. I'm sure Megan will print out a updated Vendor Map with HAMB member locations! Now, how do I find some Hershey Mad Money?

flatoz....wed and thurs are the best buying days. Tues can be OK but it's pretty thin. Saturday is the show and well worth seeing.

A great place to eat is the "boro" in Humellstown.

    Thanks all,

what time do the gates close on Thursday? We are flying in that day to JFK then driving out, so if possible will go straight there and start 'shopping' Friday will be our main day, probably not the best, but have to make the most of what time we have. Plan is then to head to CT and MA to look around and catch up with a few people we know.

Hershey has been on my things to do list for a long time so will be fantastic just to get there even for a day.

is the car corral open till late?

If anyone has some words of wisdom as to where to park or things that will make it easier for a displaced Aussie to figure it out, would appreciate a heads up. as have very short time so wish to make the most of it and see as much as possible.

Primary interest is early ford stuff, so is there sectioned areas or is it a free for all?

Best thing to do is buy a program as you go in. It lists all the vendors and thier specialty. The size of this is mind boggling the first time that you see it.

    SOME RULES:

    CASH
    Good shoes
    Bring a "Hershey Cart"
Never wear a hot rod T shirt or hat
Eat a ridiculously priced sausage with peppers and onion.
Carry a heavy part for miles so that you can take it home and hang it on a nail in the shop.
Don't stop to shoot the shit
    Have fun.......

Best advice for the first time folks it to hit the HAMB Search for Hershey 2010 posts, should have some maps and photos.

I will be doing a list again this year. Hopefully I will be able to make a map again as well.

It looks like it will be another year of double the fun for me, having to attend both Carlisle and Hershey, man my job is rough! :D :p

I'm there for the auction so I don't have much exposure to the swap there. I usually walk it once or twice for fun if I have time and for sure check out the car corral. I have to have my ham and cheese sandwich there, it is mandatory! :D

  26. wear comfy shoes, dress for... well...snow showers, rain, high winds, heat, and cold and any combination! in the 25 years iv'e been going i have learned to prepare for everything.
