    Love that loose pencil work - it's more like brush strokes.

    Awesome stuff Buick59. Love that you don't need bad photoshop and funky filters to capture an arresting image.

    I may have to break out the old AMT model kit and build that shoebox. Love it!

    I get i kick out of these everytime. Right on!

  12. Most of my work of late has been later stuff and bikes.Here's a couple pics of a shortened 31 sedan a friend of mine bought recently and had me stripe and letter.He runs a body shop in Tecumseh that does some pretty kickass work.
    The pedal car belongs to his son.That was a trip to stripe;especially the louvers which are just 3/8ths of an inch long.Each one got a double stripe and it was all done with the tip of a standard green wrap 00 Mack.

    Yeah, that is why our summer tires last so long and our beer is always cold! Cheers!!

    Ok I have an art question. Take a look at the below picture.
    [IMG]

    1st, I wanted to show off my new Tingler art (the cat paintings) on the right.

    2nd The painting on the left: It has a signature on the bottom as "Lonewolf". Who is Lonewolf? There was a guy about 12-13 years ago here on the HAMB that was a pin stripper....that went by Lonewolf, at least I think he was.

    Is this his work? I acquired the painting from a friend who was dying. Marty aka Roadsavage...may he rest in peace, gave me this painting just before he died. He said it was supposed to hang in the Petersen but he ended up buying it for 1,000.

    I guess, I want to know who "Lonewolf" is.

    It's a shame you don't work this way any more. This is great.

    Thanks xhotrodder. Yeah, I guess the way I used to work is better than the way I work now, which is...NOT! Trying to fix that neglect though now that I've discovered the HAMB and all the inspiration here in the FAS.

    That's a gorgeous shot of a gorgeous car. I'd love to do a painting based on that composition. Thanks for sharing!

    I'm not selling, I bought them from Tingler, but I bought the originals. He may have made prints. Send him a PM.

    Okay, all this incredible artwork inspired me to knuckle down and finish my sketch;

    My apologies for the marginal photo, this one is too big for my scanner and I haven't mastered the fine art of photographing graphite.
