i have four power window regulators from a four door caddy
my plymouth is a four door i have the harness so thats not a problem
i have a few questions first.
1-how the hell do you get the window out?
2- if i just attach powered regulator to window frame do i cut that tension spring so it could move freely?
3-if i could remove the old manual regulator then attach the powered will it still slide up and down evenly or some how leave the old arms of the regulator attached to guide it up and down but disconnect the crank mechanism to release the tension

    this is the inside regualtor

When installing power windows in a non-power window car you remove the manual regulators first. Leave the windows in place to set up the power units with them.
Do NOT cut springs, arms or otherwise.

The manual regulators should disconnect from the window channels (the steel channels the glass sits in with the tracks on the bottom the regulator arms slide in) by running the window up/down so the open(end with round hole at end of slot rather than dead end) end of the track is visible, the regularor arms have "buttons" which will "pop" out of the channel at the open ends.

At the bottom of the glass there are two rollers which are held on by clips, pull the clip off each roller, then pull the rollers off the pins on the regulator arm, then pull the glass out. Sorry cant help much with adapting the power pieces. Nice job on those rockers by the way.
