I'm headed back from Missouri with my latest Merc in tow. Just picked up a 40 that was an old custom.... Still trying to figure out what all has been done.

Well Folks, I'm proud to say I finally made the list. I was turned on to Merc's when I was about 15 and have loved them since. I've had a few different cars, but the Mercs have always been beyond my reach.
However, 6 months ago I started with my 07 Harley and decided to do some trading, I went from it to a 31 Ford Chopped Sedan, to a 29 Ford Chopped Sport Coupe, and then I got a call about a 49 that the guy was tired of watching sit in his garage. So here it is in all it's Glory in the great state of South Carolina.

 

Let me know what you think, I can always use some helpful advice.

Piping around the door should be white,steering column should be white,that steering wheel is horrible! Need something more period correct,even an Impala wheel would look better. You asked....haha!

 

Needs bumpers. Roll-pans are so 90's....
