I own the green and the white house in the pic too . The renters don't complain. The Ol' T-Bird is better to look at than the Crack House's on the other side of the street.....

It's a '62. And the Leafy green motor qualifies you for a Green Engine Power tax credit on your next tax return.

Now that you have that, you can give me that pesky '32 roadster you're building. I mean it's a T Bird, why would you need anything else!!!

To me the Bastard Birds are the ones from the late '60s that look like Dustbusters.

We don't have kudzu up here in the PNW, we do have blackberries that left alone will cover just about anything. When I first moved to Sandy,Or many years ago there was an old GM 4 door shell parked in the neighbors yard in front of an even older and decrepit out building. Few years passed and both disappeared under the blackberries. House had been a rental for many years then got sold to a very ambitious young guy. Shortly after moving in I saw him on a small tractor going after the blackberries, ripping them apart with a front loader bucket. Remembering the old hulk I started to head over to let him know it was between him and the barely visible shed. Barely made it to the property line as he crashed hard into the car. Lucky for him only some bruises from slamming into the steering wheel.

like your neighbors that old hulk never bothered me, the constant battle against the ever creeping blackberries is a totally different issue.

Ahh the North West Blackberries... I saw a mountian of them against a shop once, and finally noticed a little bit of chrome shining inside them. Looked real hard, and noticed, first a bumper, then a hub cap. finally could figure out it was another old T-Bird. Must be something in those old 'Birds that makes 'em so desireable.

Just put an ad in the paper, "T bird project, ran when parked" or, "ready for paint" I'm sure it would sell in a heartbeat.

wow is not on the road since 1986 a long time? I feel old! Just started a project with 1979 stickers on it, now THAT is old :D From the looks of the bird I think mine lived a better life.

  29. Here in Georgia, we lose about two or three counties per year to kudzu. Did you hear the instructions for planting kudzu--"Throw it down and RUN!"

  30. You should snag the 9" out of that before you crush it or give it away. There was one in a junk yard here I would have loved to have cut the back end off of and made a trailer out of if the trim wasn't awol.
