Some of the highest June rainfall totals occurred in Scotland, Lewis and Clark counties where the communities of Memphis, Monticello and Kahoka reported 13.29, 15.47 and 17.88 inches, respectively. Major flash flooding occurred on June 14-15 in far northeastern Missouri when 5-8 inches fell. Dozens of roads were flooded and cropland was inundated across the area. The Fox River, near Wayland, MO, reached a record level of 23.07 feet and p***ed the previous high water mark of 21.73 feet set in April 1973. Just found this. Our levee is 18 ft tall I believe! No damn wonder it broke! Lol btw, wayland is 5 miles from our house.
Joe, funny story. I was at a show, pileup I think. And a guy came up to me that knew me from the hamb! He seen shana and said, " how did you score such a fine woman?" I said, " my wife is actually married to her cousin" he looked at me for 2 mins for he finally just walked off! If I could remember all the stupid **** I've said over the yrs at car shows, I could write a book on why NOT to drink!
Breeder, all the beer you've drank over the years would reach to 23.07 feet above flood stage HellRaiser
I loved the night one year we were up at the Pile up, it was either Friday night late or it might have been the Saturday night late, around 2 in the morning, You were sitting on the back of a pick-up tail gate, in all your glory. Beer can empties...just throw them in the back....What a night. We've had some good times... I'll tell everyone a little story about you and the rain... BREEDER is crazy when he drives in the rain. Get in, sit down, hold on, and PRAY......(and a carton of cigs between us) . HellRaiser
When I first joined the hamb your avatar stood out so much I showed my wife and that was about 4 yrs ago. It is the best pic in an avatar I have seen to date. We have an 8 mo old daughter and I have snapped a couple of good shots in an "incoming" fashion, But the pic is too cool and unforgettable. Your at***ude and perseverance is an inspiration and blessing to all of us.
We lived didn't we? Lol u mean rp's tail gate? That was a very painful pileup trip home! And btw Dallas, I'm not the only one who likes big fake teats!
Well, news not so grand! My neighbor talked to a fema rep last night and there is NO funding until 2013! Our senator is going to try n get a waiver for work from the government to maybe get the levee repaired at least! I'm sure **** in glad I pay taxes to these jack ***es! think pur new plan is to become Mexican citizens then sneak back I'n! Then we will be set for life! Sorry for ranting, but what a POS government we have anymore! Btw, that's not a typo, 2013! Mmkay, rant over.
Well, not sure what to say here other then this yr needs to get gone! My wife shana, breederswife on here, got up this morn not feeling well. Turns out, after 8 weeks, the baby decided to leave this world early. We are doing pretty good, our kids took it well, which was good. Now we have 2 kiddos waiting upstairs for us when the time comes! Sorry to have to keep posting bad news, sound like a sad sack, but we are survivors, and I know we can get through it all with the word and family! Thank you all for the well wishes and prayers, and keep them coming! God bless, Todd
Man, sorry to hear. We lost a child about 5 months into a pregnancy, really leaves you in a haze for a while. Praying for things to take a 180 degree turn for you folks, with nothing but blessings from here on out.
Todd, If there was ever a present day JOBE, it has to be you. Please p*** on to Shana too I am so sorry for your loss. I've sent you a regular E:mail too. Dallas
We were 2 months yesterday, but our first child was at 3 months , dunno what ta think of is yr, but it'll be what it is. Can't change it, only pray for better!
Breeder. WE feel your loss The lord has a way of taking care of us. We are in OR and WA taking care of family. We can't change things but will support the family as we can. I wish we could have your family with us to support your family. John
Todd, I'm so sorry for this unfortunate turn of events. We have to yeild to His plans. One day, "when the time comes", we'll find out the strategy, but until then leave it all in His hands. Hugs to breederswife and breederskids! "The will of God will never take you where the grace of God will not protect you!" SDG
Sorry dude. That's a tough deal. My wife and I have been through it too with our first try. It sure wasn't easy news to take.
Dang Breeder you and your family have had it tuff this year. Bad things seem to come in bunches and ya'll certainally have had your share. The bad things that happen in our lives make us appreciate the good times more though and the sun will be shining on your lives again soon. Keep your eyes open for the Good, its on its way soon.
Sorry to hear of your continued troubles this year - our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family ...
Thanks guys. Shana went bad to the doctor today for more blood work. Have to make sure her counts are where they should be so we know everything is back to normal. Last night was kind a hard but we are all doing well today. Thx again ya all. Todd
