I had a 51 Cosmo, and when I was thinking about keeping it I had planned on getting a second 51 bumper, moving the overiders to the outside of the half round upper piece and creating a mirror image of the top on the bottom. Then I was going to do the same with the center bar. Take the second one, flip it upside down and mount under the exsiting one. Creating an A.C. Bristol ( Cobra ) type opening with the triangular bars in the center. Make sense ?

WOW! Btrsweet those are too friggin cool, thanks a million! Is there any way to do that bottom one with the stock bumper and hood trim? I'm thinking just the center bar either floating or with the grill behind it like it is, and maybe extend the center bar so the lights center under the lights? Thanks again man!

  4. That looks soo cool!! thank you soo much!! The other theme i am thinking about is a red/white/blue like the 65 falcon known as "strip teaser". Can you use your creativity to come up with a cool red/white/blue paint scheme?

    thank you again
    Mike

Sorry that this isn't a photo shop but I will give you an idea. If I owned your Lincoln I
would do excactly what Jim Hibbs did to his Sled. I believe that this is the koolest Lincoln
    ever built.

    Good luck with the project.

A little more radical than I plan on going but excellent work! Anyone want to give it a more 60's west coast lowrider look?

I am selling some stuff to buy my new wheels and tires. Looking for a few choices. Black wheels/ smooth sidewalls, Black wheels/ WWW, and anything else you guys might think will look cool. Another option might be chrome reverse w/ WWW and a white snap on top.

My next project will be more HAMB like, but I can't say I have seen a Healey modified along these lines.

Google images is a wonderful thing. Id say leave it as it is. theyre just not worth bothering with. you could easily pick up a thunderbird and modify the crap out of it.

  24. Can someone make a hiboy out of this? Use any photo and make it all the color of the body. Thanks

I think it would look an awful lot like the highboy that belongs to HAMBster Tommy.

I love Tommy’s car, but I think yours looks too cool with the fenders to even think of messing with. I saw it in the classifieds and drooled for a long time. I shoulda gone to med school.

Can someone change the color of my coupe to different shades of a flat burgundy or maroon. Thanks

  27. Your right I know but I hate fenders. But it will stay that way for now. I go to shows/cruises and see nothing but hiboys. So I am liking it more and more the way it is. Thanks for the comments.

Blame this car for my love of full-fendered '32s:

I like Model As as highboys really well, but the mass of the '32 body and frame together makes it the rare Deuce (like Tommy's) that I like fenderless.
