I think they are four inches wide. I've got the matching set for the rear, but the offest is slightly off for the Comets rear axle. Think I'll go get 'em fixed before the Reunion, maybe run 'em.

That was a Camaro spoiler I think. Dad regreted putting it on there later on.

I still haven't got around to the Cyclone yet. It's a few projects down in the pile.

The gentleman who has the 64 Winternationals trophy had cliped these out of the local paper in S.C. Cool stuff

that pic of ronnie and pee wee wallace sure brings back memories..you can actually determine what kind of car they are driving. drag racing was never better than to see a comet powered by a 427 ford go up against a 426 hemi. :)

Dale;it was a small disaster!!! On my only pass the car drove through the brakes on the burnout, bogged on the hit[probably a good thing],clutch and trans worked well, then the lower ball joint on the passenger side broke, ruined the lower control arm, minor damage to the front fender and tire!! ROY.

Guys;yea the wheelies probably played a big part in the breakage!! The worst part was that it was just in the alignment shop Wednesday,we did not detect any issues! I guess I will need to add ball joints to my maintenance schedule!! Dale you got time to install a tube axle in a 65?!!! ROY.

What a GREAT Saturday for myself, and the hillbilly hellshack I call a shop! A small group of us finally broke ground on the next chapter of the shop, an altered wheelbase '65 Barracuda. Definately some challanges ahead, but I'll keep on point of Comets here. Maybe start a new thread in the forum on it!! I believe we even sourced a 426 Hemi for it !!!!:D

Roy, let me know how I can help.
