The H.A.M.B. moderator said I posted it in the wrong forum and deleted it. I hope everyone sees it here. Better check the condition of your slicks, we're going to do across the line burnouts when you and Randy open the show!

Seeing these two great cars running side by side after across the line burn outs is what drag racing used to be all about. It's going to be a great show!

E-mail me some info and a few shots of your car. Everyone wants to know who's taking on Randy T in the show opener.

This message board allows you to "bump" your post to the top of the listings once per week. Now go back into the garage and work on that fine looking Model A your bringing to No Limit Raceway on 9/18/11.

Randy didn't go to 66 last week for the same reason, he's afraid he'll break something and have to thrash it back together for the 18th.
Getting tons of calls, this is going to be fun!

The Geezer Gassers will be there.....looks like 8 of us. Of course, with Guido "T" being the opening act, we are there to lend our moral support. Then, after he struts his stuff, it's time for the rest of the Geezers to show all how it was done and how we do it. Come out and do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Show Me State has some of the best racers. I loved Wentzville. RIP.

Oh great...now I gotta fill up the tank. ;)

I guess you guys are coming up to help give Guido a little push off da line.

Phone's ringing off of the hook, everyone is excited about a nostalgia race being held in September when the weather is cooler. Getting some calls about the swap meet, we'll be generous with the space and will not charge extra if you are pulling a trailer. Everyone who races, enters the car show or has a swap space will be given a nice participation certificate suitable for framing as our way of saying thanks for supporting this first time event. Success this year means a THREE DAY EVENT IN 2012!

Of course the real attraction is Hot Rod Hans and his 31 Ford Model A taking on Randy T and his blown 41 Willy's. Who will have the best across the line burnout? Who will have the highest and longest wheelstand? Who will have the best dry hop launch? Be there on Sunday, September 18th and find out!

Wheelstand? That just means you are out of control and have to lift so you can put the wheels back on the ground.......burnouts? Who from the Geezers has to buy 2 sets of slicks a year because of half track burnouts? Mr. Hans, you may have bitten off more than you can handle.........

Hey I was there today..was I early? Kinda thought all the cars looked funny.

The announcer did promote the show too. Nice!

Someone said there was no ambulance. There was one there today. Track hooks also. My little sneak peek 60 foot said 1 something....uh//forgot, I'm old.

    I had no problems.

Bring on that Studebaker car :)

Should I take all three or be nice and give him one? Remember, I'm a Senior Citizen so I'm running outta time. I get a bit greedy :)

Wheelstands? I have four of them and you can borrow them if you need to. I'll bring them along. They fit all cars.

I bought a set of slicks once..Hoosiers..they're not to reliable...I got 4 passes out of them :(

I'll stick to my snow tires.

The best DRY HOPS are by Leinenkeugel up in Munroe , Wisc. They do give me a headache though.
