thats not a big suprise. cindy williams played they younger girlfriend in graffitti.
she played the older streetwise girl that fonzie sets richie up with in happy days. and then got her own show for it.
they were just keeping their friends working. nothing wrong with that imo.
i wonder whatever happened to the other chick?

I remember seeing the "ralph" car in the car corral at Carlisle in the early to mid '90s. It was a bit ragged at the time, and the pictures on this thread look like the current owner has straightened it out.

That is the first time I've seen a scoop like that and I grew up in the 70s, so I'm going with "No". BTW, I like it.

Watched the original Herbie movie with the grandkids yesterday. I think I saw the pickup in a few race scenes.

They always mentioned that MR.C (the dad) drove a DeSoto. Did they ever show it?

I liked that show when I was a kid, and didn't understand quality TV yet.

Yes. In fact, in one of the early episodes, Richie races some guy in the DeSoto; the Fonz calls in some guys to hop it up before the race, and one of them is carrying what looks like an Edmunds intake.

Yes, it was a 46-48 DeSoto with the optional luggage on the roof. Chrysler luggage racks of the 42-48 era were very stylish and had thin wood slats mounted in brackets to support the luggage or cargo. No bike mounts though.

  18. Yes, my friend Jerry Duncan still owns this...here is a picture from June 19th (Father's Day) at the Red Carpet Rumble at Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut

You are correct sir. The PU was used in the Mexican road race in The Love Bug. Apparently the frame got pretty mangled when they filmed it too.

Is the bed somehow moulded into the frame rails? Or are my eyes playing games with me?

Mr C's land yacht Desoto is in the Lemay collection in Tacoma. It was at the old location.

Nads is right. I remember the juvenile delinquents in 1959 and compared to them, Fonzie was a fairy

  28. Carlisle is correct. The car was there in the corral for about $4000.00. There was documentation too.....a TV Guide book with the car and the boys from Happy Days on the cover......as I recall, it wasn't getting too much attention went I was walking by.
