Hey Judd dont hammer on him too hard this time!! LOL! Hope its cool like it is now! Hope everyone shows up, and we have good car count!!!

 

No car this year but I will attend.. On a side note the last 2 times I did any racing in Panama City was the drag strip on the miricle strip close to the hang out.. The other was at a circle track on Allison blvd close to little B'ham.. Maybe a HAMB meet and greet??? Thank You..

 

A quick question.. I heard a rumor that Bubba ***mins pulled the"" Wompin Wagon wheel stander Nomad"" out of his back yard and is getting it ready for shows and maybe some racing .. So do any of you know if this is true?? Looking forward to meeting fellow hambers..Thank You Bobby..

 

I think he finally got over acting like a sissy and got in it at leaksville and ran close to my times. I just swapped the 750 va***e secondary for the Holley 750 double pump street strip without the choke horn so I'm huntin green 57'S!!! LOL.

 

It was there the past 2 years, he broke the motor earlier this summer but has it fixed and will be there

This car has a lot of history.. I guess the first time I saw it was close to 40 years ago.. The workmanship on this auto was far ahead of what everyone else had..

 

I'll be there, looking forward to seeing all the rest of the gang. Everybody's memories get "faster" each year even if their cars don't. Here are some photos from past ODDR.

 

I just got of the telephone with noted author Gerald Hodge.. I told him about the upcoming G***er meet.He is the author of 4 or 5 books on circle track racing. He lives in Mobile Alabama actually Dalphine Island . He said he was very intersted in coming to P.C. I told him to bring some of his books as all the old timers would enjoy his writings very much.

I will have to be in LaPorte, IN in the next month or so and may tow the Comet along (only 2 miles less to the gallon) to try some tracks out up that way.

We have a two day nostiliga deal this month at milan (Mich) on the 24-25th Will be a great event with lots of cars from the tri state area. Love to have you come out........

 

D#$^!! Went to Gulfport to test and tune the new carb, broke one of the Moser axles already, chewed the center section bearing adjustment ring up and did some minor damage to the locker bearing mounting area. I don't think the locker is hurt but it apears time for bigger axles and I'll be down for at least a month.

 

This should be a good picture for you Judd!!

 

Son that view only counts on the other side of the tree! I haven't seen it on that side yet have I? LOL.

New spool chunk is in and I'm waiting on axles that are supposed to be here Thursday.
