Event Coverage Orange Dragstrip Reunion PICS! 2011

What a great time! Got there when the gates opened and got a good spot. Tons of cool cars showed up for this and the drag racing was a blast. Flag start, run as many times as you want against whoever you want. Props to the people working the hamburger stand, they were really hustling to keep the line moving. Good burgers and fries. I couldn't believe how many people showed up for this. They're going to have to do a better job with the spectator parking next year but overall they did a great job. On with the pics....

I had planned on going but early in the week those weather.com ****s called for rain, so I committed to working today. Looks like that was a mistake. I'll be sure to make it next year. Great shots.

 

Great shots-Thanks-Attended the Arlington (Wa) drag strip reunion and car show today. Weather was perfect- Several NW hitters and as always a good display by Jim Green. Also sorry to say that the rat rod craze will just not DIE. I don't understand in wasting the time and some good parts to make ****. I digress-sorry

 

That was frickin' cool!

 

That old green drag car on the trailer is a Plymouth cabriolet with the posts cut off. If I remember it's running a pontiac motor. The frame is ford.
Sure was an awsome time. The racing looked hairy with such a short track and so much horsepower!
