If anytone is interested, I know of a Ford COE that is for sale here in town. I could take some pics and get the info if needed. Not sure of the year.

    Yes, it's a quick Photoshop.

I was offered an opportunity to pick up a friends COE a couple of years ago for very short money. He was going to pull the body for another project, but the lower section and fenders would remain intact. I was shopping around for possible bodies to put up on top and photoshopped the VW bus, since there was one available for nearly nothing in the next town.

In the end, he removed MUCH more than just the body making the project a little more than I could handle, the photoshopped picture is all that remains of the "dream."

I love this one! Looks better without the visor too.

  16. Kinda looks like that shirt. Johnny did you do the original art work?

After 3 years of working on it I think I'm finally getting close. Bodywork and paint on the bed and some final detail work left.

Thanks Baron. One good thing about being on a tight budget, takes a long time to get done but if you stick to it and try not to "settle" things eventually turn out like you pictured in the beginning. I can't wait to see the bed in a nice glossy coat of red!

  23. These are great! Anyone know about these Mack COE's? Is this a factory design or did someone build it from a conventional cab?

That is a factory Mack COE, pretty cool looking in my opinion.

Not to throw too much of a wrench in the COE thread, but I'm kinda looking for a 60's needle nose Peterbilt single axle tractor. Seems like this is the crowd to mention it. Anybody ever put one on a 1 ton ch***is? Just thinking out loud.

I've seen them on 1 ton ch***is, but it looks odd to me without bigger diameter wheels, you could run the 8 stud 19.5 rims painted, and it would look pretty decent. Or go for the hub adapters for a 1 ton and run alloy semi wheels, dropped low it could be very nice and a not bad DD.

I already recieved the Rat Rod magazine. The main photo was about the same as that picture you posted.
I was impressed by the YouTube video more! I just looks like you're having to much fun doing the cruise and then dropping the air to park.
I'm hoping to be doing the same with one of mine in the next year or so.
    Nice job!

Hey Koos. Great shot in this picture. Glad it is becoming "world famous!". I'll have to pick up a copy of Rat Rod magazine.
    Congrats on both counts.

Best I've seen. They got the hood right...which is where it usually goes wrong.
