History Lucky Bastards Reliability Run 2011 Photos

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by fur biscuit, Sep 14, 2011.

  1. Rumaging through a junk shop and found an old brownie hawkeye, so i took it home. Got home and not really thinking, opened the camera up to still find it loaded with film. CRAP. well, a few of the shots survived and here they are:

My enthusiasm got ahead of my judgement and the cover is blown...

So here are my shots from the Lucky Bastards run this year. I shot them on a combination of my Rolleiflex and a brownie Hawkeye.

Then had them all printed in sepia...so I have the prints in hand. Dave gets second dibs, behind Mike.

Very interesting. I didn't realize they had satellite dishes back when the brownie was in use. Or modern AC on the roof tops...... Clever use of the sepia though.

Good eye on the satelite disc as I missed it,the signs on the buildings looked a little too new.

Assuming positive intent, the camera had film that was unused in it, took a couple shoots and.........yea that is a Prius with a spare tire on the back in that photo.
