Here are a few shots of the wagon with the new paint. The flake looks really good just cant get a good pic of it. Also, the black attracts a LOT of dust. Hard to keep it clean in AZ.

That is a good lookin' ride! might try to take the pic out of the sunlight, but it is one of those things that make a better impression in person.

Thanks. Debating what is next. Started taking the trim off the interior to paint but the outside looks naked to me. Getting some striping done on the hood but instead of the white scallops on the side like I had before, I am thinking of some big green scallops on the roof and calling it good. Lower it a bit more as well.....Also wondering what some shiny black steelies and the chrome spiders would look like with the white walls.

Looks good. You gonna bring it to the 1st show of the season at Mesa Riverview? Should be pretty big. Well, hopefully.

Nice I'm getting my '56 painted soon too, semi-gloss black and scallops. I was thinking of running black steelies with WWW and spider caps myself, but I would run chrome reverses if I had them they look great on your car

The satin black/white flake is a killer combo!

I feel your pain about the dust - I have 2 cars in satin black, and they get dirty instantly, sometimes waterspot, can never wax em...but when they're clean they look awesome.

Can't wait to see what's next for your car

    nothing like great paint

I like the top, not a fan of the satin black, they really haven't gotten the technology dialed in yet. Its almost impossible to get it to flow out smooth not blotchy, forget it if you got any dust in it when spraying because there is no colorsanding and polishing obviously and if you scratch it you have to shoot the entire side of the vehicle because blending isn't an option and unless you remember the exact temp and humidity you shot in then a panel to panel repair will show.....

I tried it out and decided to sand it down and repsray with black single stage acryilc enamel
