    ...just picked this 49 Olds up at a swapmeet...supposedly a replica of one that Bill France drove back in the day...it's a diecast, put out by Wix Filters.

    Here is one that was a "group build" for the owner of the showrods.com website. I built the motor setup for this. The intake, scoops, and fuel injection was scratch built. This thing got shipped all around the country to get finished by about a half dozen different builders.

    A few years back, Bill Frauhiger did some "what if" drawings of Tom Cl***ics. I decided to see what they would look like fleshed out.

    I sectioned a dog house from a 1/24 scale pickup then scratch built the rest. The wheels are from a TD Snap Draggin kit.

    nice stuff guys! i havent built a model in 20 years or so, but my dad p*** away not to long ago and left behind about 100 unbuilt models and 75 to 100 built model for my brother and myself to split up. might have to build a couple over this next winter. it would would fit my buget alot better over winter than the real thing ! :)
