I totally disagree. If you don't care for the vintage Ferrari photos, sports cars, how about banning photos of buildings and people? After all, this IS a hot rod/custom website. (smiling) As they say, "Different strokes for different folks". Sometimes a little tolerance of what others may enjoy viewing is best.
Not trying to stir anything up, but you weren't hesitant to offer your opinion. So, here's mine. All these photos are worth a look. Even the ones I don't like so much.

Wow, I wonder what year this photo was taken? This might be the prototype Super Vee! Gary

    Roadkill: great pics as usual.

The WTF motor belongs to the steam car, I'm pretty sure.

Can't date the formula V racer, but the Anglia 105E was intro'd in '59 I think.
I also remember having a jumper like that when I was a lad in the early 60's.

I have seen the pic with the vw before recently, (remember the girl's dress) but didn't notice the hot motor, could be a tongue in cheek photoshop as suggested.

    Mart.

The rear tire looks a bit wide as well.

  28. Unlike others , I have little doubt this is the "real McCoy".

Folk have been playing with VW's for a long time now. That young girl dates it around early sixties at latest in my opinion.
