just be careful when starting it. It would be a shame to have an old car burn while the owner is sitting inside and he can't get the doors open because the handles weren't installed.............

check your cables to the starter, plan to replace them. You might try jumping the solenoid

Would there be any problem with throwing a 12v battery in there to try and start it, I think the 6v battery is nearly dead? I would push the button and it would just click. The running lights came on but they looked really dim!

 

its ok to jump the batt with 12 volt very short term clean all the batt connections both ends and dbl check engine ground if need be use a remote starter button
