Hi to all the fellow H.A.M.B members. I am Blake and i'm 15 and i love traditional rods. I own a 1928 Ford Model A 2dr sedan. The car will have BBC 454 and a 700r4 behind it, and in the rear it will have a Ford 9in nodular rear end. This is going to be my school car and hopefully it will be at Lonestar Roundup next year.

I need some white walls for my car.The ones in the picture are no good. All i need is a good used set of radials, 195/75R15 front and 235/R15 for the back.

10-15-11 We put the rearend back together and and put motor and transmission on the frame. So now we have a rolling chassis now. Also, put body on frame.

10-22-11 Got car rolling on all fours. Also, go bags working, and fired the motor up. It ran ok but we still gotta work a few bugs out. And put headers on.(lakeheaders.com)

11-12-11 Went and picked up a 59 Cadillac and cut the roof and steering column out and put them on the car.

11-19 to 11-26 Didn't do much but go things done that eventually need to be done. Got the steering column put in so not we have steering. Put mechanical fuel pump on. Did a little wiring.

Who is going to Lone Star Roundup?

Thanks to all that read, Blake
P.S. Comment please, but only if you want too.

Welcome Blake, from New Mexico! Looks like you've got your 'feet wet' in Hot Rodding' already. Good luck with your build!

    Welcome Blake,
I have a 29 sedan I'm working on. I'm not as far along as you, but then I'm not as young as you. We seem to slow when we get old!!!

    Here's a mock up photo...

Happy to be the first from Ga. to say cool car and a big peach of a welcome to you sir............................YG

  27. Looking good, welcome to the HAMB. I was 14 in 1966 when I bought Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup, the truck in my avatar photo. You'll be a safer driver with your A because you did the labor in building it. Be safe and have fun! Henrietta the '38 Ford pickup and Ozelle the ' 55 Ford send friendly horn honks to you and your A. My parents said they never worried about me getting into too much trouble because I was out in the shed working on that old truck.

  28. Welcome young Blake, from the highlands of Scotland. Good to see the hobby is safe in young hands. Our son Paul built his first model "T" when he was 15. He sold it when he was about 25, and bought it back again when he was 40. It is waiting its turn for a freshen up.
Good luck with the "A" Got class!
    Charlie!
