Hot Rods ??? Front wishbone to locate rear axle ???

    I've got an unsplit AA front wishbone that I have saved aside for something similar.

    Thanks for that. I had a read online. Different application to what I have planned...and that ol' "split bones with rigid mounts at the axle" problem gets perpetuated in print. I hope the writer cares enough about his fiance to rethink that set up.

    There was a thread somewhere where they used a 35-40 front bone unsplit in the rear
    and even used the stock spring hangers for the rear spring.
    Do you mean that one?

    Just going to toss this out for consideration:

    Does finding that thread really matter? You've been pointed to half a dozen similar examples and you know how you want to build it. Seems it's time to go do it.

    FWIW the roach rod used this same type of thing as well.
