So a friend of mine was driving two blocks from his house this weekend in New Jersey and comes across a pile of Hot Rod parts piled up on the curb for the trash man ! (No ********)
A**** the parts were misc. Model A and Deuce parts but the crown jewel was this Hallock style windshield complete with 1955 New Jersey inspection sticker !
Can anyone identify what type of car it might fit ? It has mounting tabs similar to a Deuce roadster but they are at a heavy inward angle that does'nt seem to match up at all. It could have come from a boat originally but was obviously on a Hot Rod in 1955 as per inspection sticker.
Better yet, do any old timers from New Jersey remember what car this was on ???? HELP !

In the trash. By the road. You found a freakin' Duvall style windshield by the road.

I'd say that you ****, but I'm still trying to process the fact you found a Duvall style windshield in the trash by the side of the road.

Cleaning out the place after some one died or victim of divorce.

15 years ago a friend of my wife sold her husband's race prepared Bugeye sprite, trailer, mint spare hood, spare engines and transmissions, wheels and tires and tools for 300 bucks just to get it out of the garage. A lot of his other stuff went to the curb.

Don't know what happened to his 40 Buick coupe.

Changed my mind with the inspection sticker.........likely from some small foreign roadster?

What the hell do I know? How do you get me into this stuff, Paul?

The mounting tabs on the ends kinda look like 26/27 T roadster, But I could be wrong.

That is a pretty fantastic window. That's a 'find' story you'll be telling people about until you die.

I recommend going back to the house and asking the homeowner, "Ahe, whats the story on deez here parts?"

  22. ****** hell, and I was stoked Niel Finn hisself sent me a DVD.

    You ****!

    Doc.

  23. I'd be at the door offering to clean out their garage/attic/ba*****t for free.

We have a junk day in the spring in some of the towns in this county. About 25 years ago now I found a 28-29 A hood top, which had been brazed into one piece, had a crude square scoop cut into it, and had at one point been finished in a candy blue paint. I saved it and it's on a buddy's doodlebug now.

That beats the NOS 1932 Ford Pines Winter front a friend found on metal trash day in White Plaines, N. Y. I'd go back to the house and ask for some details and maybe more parts. How wide is it? Could be a sports car item.

Amazing. Around these parts a barbecue grille or a window AC unit barely sit on the curb long enough to cast a shadow.

I'm glad your buddy scooped that windshield before the s****pers.

    I would say it's a one-off deal for a 26-27 T roadster. Super cool!
