Event Coverage ***2011 Hunnert Car Pileup PHOTOS!***

The tenth and final Hunnert Car Pileup was a great one! The past few days flew by way too fast.

Huge thanks to the Chrome Czars and all of the Volunteers that made this event possible. I know our group enjoyed ourselves and everything seemed to run smoothly -- THANK YOU!!
Also, it was great to see so many friends that I only see once or twice a year. We need more events like this to use as an excuse to get together!

On Thursday night a bunch of us saw Dick Dale play at my buddy's bar/music venue here in Omaha and that was the perfect way to kick-off the long weekend. Well, except for being up until 3am and getting up at 7am on Friday.

Seven of us from Omaha and Lincoln drove out in four vehicles. TJ (junkboys), Lisa, Uncle John, Gary (hot-rod roadster), Jason (jho), Lowell, and myself. Thanks for the great weekend! Gary, thanks again for letting me tag along and drive your '40 Ford some. Probably the nicest car I'll ever drive

These old grain bins were undermined by the flood water and sank into a hole!







Flood water levels show on this pole. It was sad to see all of the buildings, vehicles, farm equipment, etc. that also had flood water marks/levels on them. What a mess.
