Hong Kong is where the really high quality color separating and printing is done. That's why Surfer's Journal is separated and printed there too.

Look at both mags, they are miles ahead of 99.9% of what you see printed.

According to ****an (at least what he told me), it was due to cost. He lost subscribers when he made the change to Hong Kong, and he had to consider that fact.

It's time!!! I just picked up my copy at So-Cal Phoenix! I actually made Brian open the box. Haven't even looked at it yet, but it looks great with the "Take out T" or that pretty '37 on the cover... Pardon me while peruse!

This new issue (52) is so bad ***. The Circle City Chevy, The Take Out T, Ed Pink's Old Master Rail. When my wife and I were in San Fran, we were fortunate enough to get to sit and watch them shoot the Eric Clapton Vicky that Brizio is building for him. That photo shoot is in this issue too. One of the best issues in a while.

I've been waiting by the mailbox every day!;) I'm holding Colombus day responsible for the wait.

If they truly mailed every three months the issue # wouldn't coincide with we subscribers/buyers have....
Still, the best hot rod/custom publication out there.

By the way a subscription is 4 issues, I don't remember there ever being an exact time frame and I have every issue.

Man, I love that Ryan Cochran guy! hahaa

  21. I got mine Saturday. I think they ship them out on a rotating priority basis. Sort of like "Let's send this issue to Arkansas first and Texas last and see how the guys on the HAMB handle it."

My brother lives out in the boonies (about 45 minutes southwest of me) and he got his two days ago. I am 15 minutes from downtown Indy and mine has not turned up yet.
