Since it's Canadian Bacon, it cannot be compared to U.S. Models. You need a expert in Canadian Bacon.

I just love these questions that ***ume that we know what "they' are talking about.

It looks like a 55 chevy that may or may not be an all original survivor. Is that the question?

Are we sure that it's a 6? I haven't seen any pics of the rear of the car.

Location of the radiator makes it a six.

The paint work appears around the rear window. The hood looks too clean to have survived that nicely. Roll the ***** out side and take some more pix new-bis bee.

Its a nice car. If its been re-done, it is a good job. Why get so worked up about it being original? Enjoy it , as is.

It's a 150 with 210 quarter stainless spear (the vertical "wing" coming off the long quarter trim is incorrect for a Sedan as it's from a Station Wagon).

If the car were a 210, it would have thin stainless beltline trim under the side windows, etc..

I think it's a repaint as I don't recall the factory painting that far onto the trunk floor...

I like all your comments so far keep them coming so I can build a case for my next encounter with the local pros. I'll contact a local car club and ask them questions based on your observations. The 567 club will be my next stop. I'll keep you all posted and will try to send more pictures. "Keep it between the ditches"

The trunk floor in my DelRay was completely painted (unmolested car with original paint).

A fellow that did some trim work for me a long time ago, did "warranty" work on tri-five Chevys in the mid-fifties. Considering that scenario, your interior could have been worked on way back when, and the changes could be enough to throw us all off.
You have a really nice car, there!

VIN will tell all. But the first post I didn't get until I read on. I dont think they are re-popping 55 2dr sedns. Any way VA is a V-8 "150" model Jus A is a 6 cyl. "150" model but most of you already knew that except fort the poster.

I'd pay $10K for it and they could keep the mirror and hub caps.

What's a fake 55 chevy ??? I am not aware of anyone other than GM making steel 2 door sedan bodies.

I don't think it is "original" never been touched, but I'd need to see the car in person to tell you for sure...I'll PM you my address so you can bring it by.....feel free to leave it for awhile....
