It's now October. Only three weeks until Jalopyrama #8 in historic Annapolis, MD.

Today is just a sample of how great the weather is gonna be on Saturday, Oct. 22. A day made for cruising to the Annapolis National Guard Armory in your rod or custom, and hanging out with some like-minded critters. Food, games, rusty nuts, fun!

 

Hey I sent a email to the promoters I will be up that way finishing up the paint on my van for SEMA and didn't know if I could enter it because it's a 64. I saw the cutoff date was 62 cars but I know some shows let stuff in that fits the criteria as long as it's close in the year department. Any help is greatly appreciated

That thing will be bad ass if it looks anything like the Olds. I say just bring it and get there real early, you can park just outside the gate if they don't let you in.

 

Space is at a premium so don't assume that you will be allowed in or get pissed if it is not. Just don't take it personally. Cut off dates are needed or we would be over run with Camaro's etc. rules are rules.

 

I will drive it up friday night and get a room, but its a long ride back to Texas if they tell me no lol........I am actually leaving the show, and heading the 2300 miles to Vegas for SEMA

My first time to the Jalopyrama Hot Rod Show and I've got my car inside!!! It.s going to be so COOL... Us Northern boys are coming to the end of our season and I can't think of a better road trip to end a great year.

We're running the Providence Center shuttle van up and down Hudson St. like in the past. The Navy-Marine Corp stadium is being used -NAVY HOMECOMING GAME! We're working on getting permission to use a vacant used car lot 1 mi. from the Armory for spectator parking and the shuttle will run in-between there and the Armory. Parking is really, really at a premium! Along with Hotel rooms. John, don't get to close to Annapolis before looking for a hotel room, there are none in the Annapolis area unless you want to pay big bucks!

Looks like its gonna be a good show! this will be my first time down there, my car isn't ready, I'll be hitching a ride in either CHOPMERC's 51ford, or my brothers shoebox.
