I have a 1937 Ford 1 1/2 ton dulley, with with the orginal drive train, wheels, mechcanical brakes. Look at pictures and tell me what it is worth I have know idea. Thanks, Machinist
and 250/300 scrap for the frame and running gear. They aren't real pricy when they are fully restored with a nice flatbed on them.
Machinist, Cool old rig. And welcome aboard. This is a wonderful educational as well as entertaining forum. You may want to make an introduction soon though, before the computer cops get after you! Cheers, Bob
Chop the top, shorten the wheelbase, smaller wheels/tires on the front, and mount an older camper on it.... Will be a killer !!!! cheers........
i would say for the sheet metal (cab, grille etc.) it should be worth around $800. it would probably be easier to sell in parts than complete.
theres some out of the box thinking for you....i bet an old tow rig would look cool chopped and channeled or lowered some how....got to love mechanical brakes on a truck
i think the estimates are inline....if you have a local swap meet load the parts mentioned on a trailer put up a sign noting you also have a frame and drive-train with your cell at the swap meet then walk around and enjoy the day and you may get a buyer
