Awesome! Imagine if this survived as pictured (survived being Prostreeted) and was uncovered in a garage! Drop an engine in it and start driving it!

  18. One of my favorites! A couple years ago there was a cherry blue '41 4door sedan on ebay that was right hand drive and came to the states from
Argentina. There was no reserve, and it was hovering around the $6000.00 dollar area with only a short time left. I was tell my brother "man we gotta get this thing and make a gasser out of it. Hell we could sell the cherry front sheet metal for more than we pay for the car". It sold for either 6750.00 or 6950.00 I can't remember exactly, but I have been kicking myself in the ass ever since. Hell Dave, you so intrenched in the Willys world, you probably know who got it. PS. you might change your
name to Dave McWillys, thanks for all the pics and info.

  21. Dave,
Notice the lack of '39 beltline tail lights, and the 39 dash with defroster louvers, but the round dash guages like the 37-38 models. I think I have seen this car over the years somewhere in our area (MN./Wis) Also Willys/Overland on the hood, instead of just Overland!

I love this thread, here is my two cents. This is Maple Grove Pa. in the early 80s.
