I think this has been shown before and am sure it is Bondi Beach with North Bondi in top left.I lived in an apartment on Brighton Boulevarde in the early 70's.

Nice pic! That's 'one of only two ever built'
Boss 429 Cougars. The other one went to
"Fast Eddie" Schartman. Here's a couple of
pics of Schartman's ride. Note the ultra-rare
Motor Wheel 'Spyders' on the front.

You know you normally think a city, a country (specifically ours) would improve over time. But looking at these pictures of the past they havent, theyve gotten worse. Become less unique and beautiful and American and more bland, sad and a global feel to it.

Chevelle, I watched Houston tear down what seemed to be perfectly good buildings and literally "Erase " it's past when I used to manufacture Van accessories in the 70's . Sadly, I watched Dallas do much the same thing in the 80's too..... scrubba

Cars that survive in great numbers are the cars that were popular when they were new and never stopped being popular. Model Ts, Model As, 32 Fords, 40 Fords, 37-38-39 Chevys, 55-57 Chevys, 64 1/2-68 Mustangs, 67-69 Camaros, and so on in diminishing numbers through other makes.
If the car never loses its market, it survives to be built and rebuilt and rebuilt.
