Event Coverage ACES Poker Run

The ACES Car Club has brought back the tradition of 40's and 50's Hot Rod Reliability Runs.
The purpose of a Reliability Run is to prove the road worthiness of the hotrods (This is NOT a race).
There will be 5 stops with one random playing card given at each stop. Best Poker hand wins a prize!
The event will be open to pre 1965 Traditional Hot Rod's and will be held in the scenic Trabuco/Santiago Canyon Area.
Call Bob at the number on the flyer - Space is limited so you must reserve a spot with Bob!
The start/finish line is at Rose Canyon Cantina & Grill in Trabuco Canyon​

I will try to make it down. I had a good time last year. It's much better seeing the cars on the road vs a big parking lot.

 

This is such a great event totally different than so many other car shows; relaxed, mobile, great food and great music.

Only $15 for both the show and a sit down lunch! Not to mention over-the-top prizes that even the wives can't wait to win.

Being back in the canyon, it's like stepping back into a different era. We had a such a great turnout last year, I'm really looking forward to this event.

I just received confirmation last night a buddy and his wife will be joining us with their '39 Ford. It's mostly stock outside of being lowered and some hot rod wheels. When tossed in this environment, combined with the other cars, these close-to-stock rides fit right in; period correct.

 

It says bikes also, What year is ok to join the run???
