It is, I promise. This guy is the most coolest/weirdest I have ever met. He told a lot of stories of hot rodding, but also showed us old naked pics of chicks and himself. he is pretty cool either way. It really is a 59 vette.

Wow, that was out of left field. That baby is badass, or maybe just bad, not sure yet. Definitely different.

At least it isn't another boring matching paint dabs, blah, blah, blah project. What's the deal on that? Are you saving it too or leaving it up to another brave soul? The wheels are kind of cool looking if nothing else.

You have to have a decent set of balls to role around in something like that. I'm not sure I'd be man enough myself.

  15. The best thing about that Vette is it would drive the Bloomington Gold crowd absolutely batshit!

Tough call on the cabrio, you'd have to really be into that '50s, sleeko custom thing to take it through to completion. Looks like Mopar tin on the sides, if carried through to the doors and front it might be interesting..............otherwise, parts pile.......make that interesting parts pile with a story.

I thought the 'Vette was a custom '68 Camaro when I first saw the rear...

  20. Doors are in my garage, quarters are gone but all thats really missing is the sheet metal from the fender forward to the B pillar. B pillar is still there. Rear fender (half of it) is still bolted to the original body and original wheel well is still there. If you kept it channeled, it would not really take too much

Wow very cool find, lots there to work with Chris, I hope you decide to keep it and build it so we can all get to follow along! It still amazes me the stuff you seem to find! Does the former owner want to see you fix it up?

Dang Chris, you must be part bloodhound. Spokane is littered with old iron all over town. I know of a Porsche 356 that's been in a garage over there for over 35 years.
This one though is a morphadite. The rear end lines look nothing like the front sheet metal. I'd ditch those Bugly quarters, and put it back to a nice sectioned '36 much like in his photos.
I'd like to tear his garage apart to hunt for more lost treasures, while listening to the old guys stories. That would make for another great weekend in Spokane

  27. 1950 DeSoto taillight on the 36....pretty cool.

    CHris,

What the fuck, leave some cars for the rest of us!! That thing is killer, great find. I really dig old home grown customs and hot rods, some real cool ideas come from back yards.

The "OLD FORD DETECTIVE AGENCY" strikes again............damn man!...... I'm beginning to think you never sleep as it would interrupt your search for old Fords!
