You are crazy haha .......that's why I like you.
If you can get it back looking like those pictures----and I think you can, you'll have something really special.

I figured that "thing" in front of the garage was going to turn out to be a 67-69 Camaro! I would have never guessed there was a 59 Vette hiding under the tarp!!

  6. Me too! I would have tried to get 'em both.

  7. At least let you scan them? MMMMMM, vintage porn...

  8. So our master plan of blowing gaskets on the daily is not working as plannned
"slowing chris's picking" alternative plan "b" starts now

I took a '58 vet in on a trade in 1971. It had that front with a stock rear. The guy had brought it from NY to Miami and needed cash.He said that he had been told that it was a California Shark nose. If I remember right he said it was a Tiger. It had been on drag strips up north and was about the ugliest 'Vet I or anyone else in Florida had seen. I was embarassed to be seen in it and sold it for $350.00!! The kid I sold it to eventually wrecked it and I don't know what happened to it after the wreck. That picture on here is the only other vet I've seen like it.

I'd definitely buy that 59. Find out if it's for sale and the story on it please.

That vette might be for a Stephen King sequel to "Christine".

The black and whites are interesting. What a shame he didn't leave it alone after that. Cool that he kept it though!

When I was a kid my mother told me that if an old man tried to show me naked photos of himself, I shouldn't stick around to see whats in his garage.

  22. There was a method in this bloke's madness. Amazing work/ workload. Hint of genius. I come up with this in response (too interesting to not respond)- really tamed the Vette, probably too tame...

  23. Heres some pics from today, I finished cleaning ang hosing it out tonight but too dark for pics. Really not too bad of a car, the floor and frame are super nice. My goood friend may be picking it up, he has some Cabriolet pieces to finish the puzzle.

  26. Nice and interesting find. I think those tail lights are 1951 DeSoto.
