I recently saw at the Hunnert Car Pile Up numerous cars with this "new sylye" of the frog mouth air scoop on their two barrel carbs. Does anyone know where to get some?

flatoz, How much are you asking for the "rat scoops" I need two for my Strombergs. Also, I have never bought anything out of the country, do you accept PayPal. I trust you, it is just that PayPal is a for sure secure way.

  16. I think that "The Hot Rod Company" in Wisconsin is a distributor for them and if you're an 'ALLIANCE" member you get a discount... Mike will help you out!

Check out his online catalog at... http://www.thehotrodcompany.com/

Thanks to those that gave their time for an helpful reply. Nice to see a teenage kid like Mattrat that has a model a and actually did the chop and all the metal work on his car himself. The car has metal work on the floor that guys would like to have on the top of their car. Willing to run a flathead instead of a small block, hunt all over for a good banjo and 39 trans, thickstun intake, strombergs etc. I can never understand why the same guys guys gripe about the punk kids just wanting ricers and then when we get a kid trying to learn the old ways he gets his chops busted. Just my two cents.

Yea, some of these Nancy boys sure must have served a different kind of apprenticeship than I did. I remember one time I asked my mentor about reversing the pin offset in a sbf I was building. His response? "should be fine, I wouldn't worry about it...If your building it, it'll blow up anyway."
