ok so I painted my 54's roof metal flake Green ( pic below) . I now feel im stuck with the option of satin black as a bottom. I'm open to other colors ..just want to see what you guys think for options . Im open to crazy combos as long as it works with the metal flake roof ! . Thanks again to all that read and help the cause . thanks JAKe .
What about another shade of green? I have seen a mint metallic green body with a dark flaked top on a 54 and it looked pretty good.
I'm doing my 53 with a seafoam flake roof and satin dark green bottom. ...a few stripes will go on as well.
...copper or an ivory color would look good with your roof. Shiny paint if you go light. And I think you need contrast between top and bottom on a two tone car - just my opinion. -carl
White, Silver, shades of green? Maybe it's time to start considering that radical panel paint job you always dreamed of...
ya ivory sounds good ... just got back from lowes . ..with paint card samples ... whos the photo shop god ?? help .. ivory .
not sure but you can print it out and take it to your local auto paint shop and they can probably help you out.. i do that all the time! They are pretty good with finding the same color...
Kirker has a forest green metallic that is close to that color. They have another green that is just a little bit lighter.
I like the yellow idea, a good bright canary yellow, a real primary colour. Satin black is fast leaving me cold I'm afraid......
