Random shots. That's the "Bradbury Mansion" c.1927. later home to Hal Roach Studios.

Doc, this discussion was conducted before on this thread. Those are Yank posters, and the U.S. stayed out of the war -- at least officially -- until attacked in Dec. '41.

As far as I myself am concerned, the first real act of WAR was when Hitler thumbed his nose :p and marched troops in to reclaim the Rhineland in 1936, in direct violation of the Treaty of Versailles. And in '37, he literally had his ground and air forces in Spain "practicing up" for the big show yet to come. While this was happening, Japan was raping Chinese cities.

But talking the DETAILS is one of the most interesting things about this thread. AND, this thread wouldn't be the same without your points of view, regardless of the topic. So POST ON, brother!!! :D

Man, I like this house too. Wonder where it was/is and if it still exists.

  12. It's definitely not a picture of me.... I could never fit in that tiny car. It's just a fun looking car picture that I thought would be different. As I recall, I stole it from someones picture thread on another site. Have no idea of the original story or where or when the picture was taken.

It was in LA and was used in many movies through the years. I'll dig up the info later, I've been called into work for today. Nothing like 7 days a week on the job.

Have you read The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History by Thomas E. Woods, Jr?

You'll get a whole new perspective on WWI and WWII.

We were victims of a lot of propaganda from our politicians and our school systems.
