Love the photos and memories on this thread. It's very relaxing to reminisce about days gone by. Hate the politics. There are literally thousands of blogs dedicated to politics. Don't ruin it guys! Please, stick to cars and "days gone by." Can't we have a neutral zone where we can all come together in a common interest. I came here to relax and enjoy the photos. My blood pressure is already high enough. :(

Saw a program not long ago where they found and recovered his body and I believe the raised this boat a couple of months after recovering his remains.

If the Moderators wanted they could have removed it and by simply not replying to it would have let it die.I made a mistake on the politics thing but I wonder if I said they were planning to outlaw hotrods if I'd have been called out on it.A PM would have been better

Wish I could make out the number on that loco. It's a Fairbanks-Morse and not too many R.R.s used them. The Akron, Canton & Youngstown (Ohio) embraced the marque and had about 10 of them.

The picture is from Freeport, N.Y if it helps. I guess that makes it property of the LIRR ??

Love that sleek roadster in front of the dealer - from the position of the front springs, isn't it an American Underslung?
