16" early Ford wheels or Kelsey Hayes wires are by far the nicest looking wire wheel out there!! There's just something about that open space between the spokes that makes them what they are.

Anyone can say they're not worth keeping anymore. But I don't believe they will ever go out of style!! I love them!!

No one wants 16" 1935 Ford wire wheels?
Smallest wire Ford made. Nice for a hot rod.
This has gotta be a troll.
Put them on the parts for sale site.

    Instead of the stock market...

Invest in 16 inch Ford wire wheels.

You'll make a whole lot more money, guaranteed.

Streetrodder. Not a real hot rodder.

Streetrodders think they are Hot Rodders, Hot Rodders do not consider themselves Streetrodders.

I just put a worthless set of '35 16" wires on my worthless '33 PU, which sits in my worthless garage.

Sounds to me like someone is trying to get some wire wheels CHEAP. I've turned down a tidy sum for my 16" KH-40's.

I hate it when people rag on something in an attempt to obtain it :(

Tell him you found out he was right and gave them to a scrapper. Say that you would have given em to him but unloading a bunch of junk onto someone like that might have burdened your conscience and caused you to not sleep well at night.

Did the guy who told you that offer to dispose of them for you? They can be found around here for $20-30 dollars each depending on condition ('35 wheels). Not big money but worth picking up. For every car built they built at least 5 wheels (spare) and they don't waste away as fast as sheet metal.

    Oh and I kinda like'em.

The 16" has been very desirable ever since the day it was new. It seems that every 1935 wheel was kept. They had 16" tires on Fords until the mid Fifties and when Model A tires were not available, many guys used the 16" 1935 wheels on their A. I remember seeing A's on the street in the early 1960s with 35 wheels.

The standard Ford / KH welded 32(?)-spoke ones are maybe not as desirable as bent-spoke KH wires, but are still a nice wheel. That said, I've just swapped a nice set for a set of '40 Ford solids, but that's just my addiction and I'm sure I'll have some more wires someday. In fact, I have some 17" '33-'34 wires coming soon - they're pretty cool on something older than '33, but tyres are are a lot harder to find.
