Wanted Information Re: A 1932 Ford 3 wcpe body, bought @ the Pomona or L.A. Roadster Swap Meet in 1977 or 1978 by Russ Schaller of Hebron, CT. The body has a 4 1/2 inch Bonneville chop. The cut was right through metal, wood, doorposts, door gasket molding and was gas welded, and finished in lead. The cowl vent was partially gas welded and then brazed shut and covered in lead. The lead was 1/4 inch think in the door jams. The body had been channeled, the sills cut with a torch, had two odd sized holes cut for the rear taillights, the gas tank filler relief had also been filled with lead. The inner passenger side door panel had been torched out and tacked back in. The body was in overall decent condition with a few dents, 1 on the driver side above the door jam, and one on the driver side rear quarter. The bottom of the doors were rusted through and the wheel wells had been "relieved" with a torch for axle clearance. There are paint remnants suggesting the car had been yellow and blue metallic at different times. The top door hinges were removed. When I bought the body, it was in black primer. If you have any information regarding this body, I would appreciate hearing from you.

Was there a skull painted on the door at one time or is it the Halloween spooks messing with my computer?

TTT Welcome to the HAMB Tim Bitchin car you got there!! Dave

  8. Well I can tell you a couple of things about it, it was chopped poorly and is a heavy muther. 1/4" of lead man thats some crap work.

So ya gonna post a pic or two? Is it your body now or are you just posting a craigs list ad for us to ponder?

I know ir is interesting to know something about the car you got but it looks like you have more than enough info to build yourself a car, just build it the way you want and make your own history.
