I finished up the roof, firewall, passenger door and drivers quarter panel yesterday. I gave them all a shot of primer last night. Sorry for the Shitty pics. I will take some better ones today.

I really liked the way the roof turned out after shaving the drip rails. It looks so much cleaner over all.

Thanks for the kind words. I cant wait to see it back on the frame either. As soon as I finish up on the body I am going to turn my attention to getting the frame ready for bags and paint.

  9. Yeah its exciting to see the body going back on even though I have to pull mine right back off.

  17. Are the bags for the front or back? If they are for the front they should be 2500 series. The teike is cool!

I got started on the deck lid and the passengers quarter panel. slow progress....but progress all the same.

  20. Ok good. I used 2600 in the rear. Worked well on my car. Our cars are pretty much the same frame and mechanically.

I got a little work done last night. I re-stripped the passenger side quarter panel and slapped a little bondo on it...I ran out of bondo so I will have to wait until pay day to get more. In the pics below you can see how beat up this quarter panel is.

  23. Atleast it is saveable. Nobody makes full or upper quarters for the 55-56 ford, merc or lincolns. Sucks!

I finished up the deck lid, deck panel, lower valance, and the underside side of the hood. I will have to go back and weld up some cracks in the hood supports. I also put another coat of primer on the hood and dash. I will not get to work on the car at all tomorrow because I am going to Maxton NC with some friends. Sunday I plan to recoat the fenders and I am also going to start cleaning up the frame.
