It amazes me how many of these warhorses survived! BEAUTIFUL! This thread is a pictorial history lesson

Great stuff Mazooma,I especially like the photos of the 1957 Pontiac owned by Jim Data. Data made the carbon fiber body himself, the only one there is.

Every year I tell myself that I am going to attend this event. But invarably a school function or my son's sporting activity precludes my attendance. Next year the wife can accompany the boy to his tae kwon do tournament. In so doing I can also make the accquaintance of some of you fine folk.

  13. We had a whole family from Germany sitting next to us, you could hear Aussie accents British accents everywhere.
This event has become a global destination.

Thanks for the great pics Doug. I was busy back in the 7.0 Pro pits for much of the event and did not get to meet as many people as usual, sorry that I missed you. March Meet maybe?

Took awhile to get through all of the photos because I had to dwell on every one. I love your attention to details. :)
Thanks for sharing all the great photos.

Mazooma you alway do such a great job of taking pictures. Not sure if you saw these but since you are an old time Irwindale, OCIR guy not sure if you saw these. Mikio Yoshiyoka with friends.

Clayton drives his wagon from OKC every year to push start the "Iron Horse" digger in the cacklefest. He's built a lot of magazine cover cars lately.

  26. Nice detailed shots, thanks getting up close and personal with these cars.
