  4. That will never happen. He loves that car and told me he will be burried in it. Don was telling me stories about driving it to California, and the Women he picked up in it! Don sounds like he was quite the ladies man ;)

  5. The top looks killer on the 34 Chris, if you ever part with the Cleveland topper I get first crack please ! LOL

Damn Chris...what the hell are ya gonna do with that? That's way more work than the typical Ford "bolt together" shit...you may actually have to cut and weld...haha...nice find dude!
    The Corvette rules too.....

Naw.....just all the pre-war flathead powered stuff...

  7. I kinnda like it, but if you want it that bad make me an offer :D

Man, that interior is Killer! Very nice! Kinda looks like the old "cracked ice" vinyl they used on the chrome Kitchen tables in the early 50's.

Its great that he kept everything and didn't lose or sell it off a little at a time. Just a great looking car. Looking forward to seeing it finished.

  10. Yeah, I guess I really don't do much with these ol cars except just bolt shit on em. I drive cars how I like em...souped up bangers and flatheads, juice brakes, dropped axles, reverse springs, and a mix-n-match of early Ford parts. And thats fine, I like my stuff how I like it. If we all like the same shit, we would all drive the same car. I never bag on a guy for liking a 60's or 70's era built car, even though that just aint my style.

Yep, that bumper appears to be a 48/49 Buick rear bumper.

  19. My friend Ron ended up buying the car, he has parts of another 36 cabriolet that will help him put this one back together!

Congratulations to Ron, hope he starts his own thread on the rebuild. There were two Cabriolet body styles in 1936, this one looks like the Club Cabriolet that had the larger top and jumpseats in the back, is it?
