A little bondo on that hand and it will look like new... I have thought it might be cheaper for all concerned if my medical insurance company would hire someone to work on my cars and avoid the medical expense when I do something stupid.

C'mon Jerry, tell us about the hand.

Is it maybe the penalty for breaking some hitch hiking laws in Iran??

    Hand stitched aged leather wins!

    It started with a movie.

Has anyone ever seen that movie where a bump appears on this guy's shoulder that eventually grows into an eye and then a full grown head that finally splits off the guy into a full grown creature? My brother and I saw that movie when we were kids and it scared the hell out of me. Anyway, the same identical bump that guy had on his shoulder started growing on my hand. Just like when I was a kid it scared the hell out of me so I had it removed before it could turn into an eye. The stitching came out so nice I was going to talk to the Doc about doing my seats.

Today all I could do was move stuff around. I moved parts out of the paint room and into the assembly area (assembly area sounds better than warehouse.) Then I brought the hood and frame covers from my little shop into the paint room. I figured if I was mixing up primer I might as well paint the rest of the sheet metal. BTW, the guy who sold me that chair said it's the one Lincoln sat in at Ford's Theater. He gave me a letter of authenticity.

    Jerry,

Great chair! You are lucky that Lincoln changed seats on his last visit to the theater or your chair would be all messed up like this one.

I have been 2 feet from the actual chair & it is eerily humbling to be that close to something that significant. Yes, the stain is Lincoln's blood.

Speedy recovery. (that's you, it's too late for Lincoln)

i had a lump like that in the middle of my back, it was just about the size of a Canadian quarter, then one morning i got up with this pain in my back and the lump was the size of a golf ball, i had it removed the next morning, then a year later same thing the size of a golf ball, removed the next day, that was about a year ago.

I'm pretty sure the movie was The Manster -- Half Man-Half Monster (1959). The poster is a dead giveaway!

See, I told you! And you thought I made it up. The eye was just starting to form on my hand. If I'd waited another day it would have been the end of this thread.
