Im using the originals in my 30 plymouth, but I took out some back seats in a corvair, their two piece, with easily workable brackets that i set in my 36 plymouth and they fit perfect.not sure how much wider it is from an A,but they look good.
The middle seat from a Caravan is narrower because it's the one you have to step around to get to the back seat.
I used a Dodge mini van middle seat in a 34 Ford pickup. I think it measured 40". It was great. Take off the arm rest and bolt in. I had Fiero seats in originally, but the Dodge was more comfortable. The Model A is likely close to the truck interior dimensions. You may want to cut the frame down to give more leg room, if your tall. Joe
Wow.... Seven year old thread back from the dead!! Seeing as it's up, anyone have the correct link to the seat dimension thread?
Mazda MPV van centre seat. Fits great. Provides tilt and recline to back and comes with a adjustable track. Decided to use the track out of a Ford from the 80s as it gave a little more travel with finer adjustments and a slightly lower profile. Upholstery is even a good pattern with a roll around the sides and pleated sections in the seat and back. Canuck
We put a rear seat from a Geo tracker in my sons 30 model A coupe, it fit perfect and leans forward for behind storage
I used the middle seat out of a Dodge minivan, it is narrow so you can get to the rear seat, fits in my 30 like it was made for it, had to build mounting .
Doh!! You are correct!! Does the link work for you? It doesn't for me! Maybe it's my wack Cali edjucashun....

I'm on the junkyard hunt for a decent fitting seat for my '29 Coupe. That list will be a big help. Any other ideas? Kevin
I got both rear bench seats out of a 90 Mazda APV mini van. Middle seat fits mt Model A just fine, and the rear bench seat fits my 46 Chevy truck great. No, the blue is NOT staying! Just about walked right by it at the local pull-a-part. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
I used the middle seat out of a 1999 Dodge Caravan with the slider doors on both sides. The seat fit my '31 coupe perfectly.
so with this ancient thread, how are all those mini-van seats holding up? i hear that since they're designed for a couple of six year olds, they go to **** pretty quick when a 180 lb hotrodder plants his *** in them.
Donzie told you what to do about two pages back .... Center seat our of a Plymouth Voyager mini-van, 2000 -- ???, works perfectly.
He might have to look at older Caravans. I think the mini vans got wider as they got newer. My wife is gone with the 91 she drives or I could measure it. I think my 88 Mini Ram Van is a bit narrower than her 91 but mine doesn't have back seats.
I just picked up a 90 Mazda APV middle bench seat that fits my Tudor just about right. Seatback tilts forward AND reclines.
Hey Brett, what's wrong with that blue, nice match for my coupe's seat. Looks like you have a bit more room width wise, I had to trash the plastic hinge covers to fit between the door posts. Canuck
