ToddJ - Excellent! I wish your drawing happened in real life - would love to see a car like that with a P-38
Gary C - Awesome, vibrant creation!
Corvette Bob - Wonderful as always!
Bomonster - well done and a really different concept.
Mlomaka - I definitely want a wagon like that! Super Cool!!
cixpack - that progression is really fascinating and the end result is great!
N.Ozols - your multi view renderings are fantastic!
dankyd - your painting talent is magnificent and you are so prolific.

Thanks Dan! I appreciate your comments! That's my favorite too of the six. Others have too much "empty" areas, I guess.

BUICK59, that shot of the '59 is really great!
cixpack, cool 'how ya done it.'

ToddJ, Spoggie, GER, MikeLo, cool stuff guys

Jeff N., thanks for kicking things off with such a killer piece of Crusty Rusty, beautifully executed rolling art.

As for me, I'll just throw down some re-pops of sufficiently Crusty and Rusty pics of my own...

These last two are old. Both are marker on parchment, the first, "The Loretta 3000", named after the designer's mother, was done it '89 as part of a
school project, while I was studying at Cal Arts.
The second about 1981 or 82, when the artist was driving that same mom's "cherry", pale green Galaxie 500. ( a great car I might add.)

Hey guys, been super busy, wish I could post more often.. but here's what I just finished up. Marc Sowers of Tampa is starting a new hot rod shop "Sower Apple Customs"... he's making fully lit plexiglass sign for the front of his shop with the art I did for him.... can't wait to see when that's done. And the last photo is of my finished "Wrecked Stickers" that I sold at the "Hot Rod Reunion" in Bakersfield. Hope yu dig!

Jeff N- Ken's a talented dude... love the patina on it!
    Bomonster- that's wild detail brother..
GaryC- Wild Design.. I love the mix of open wheel
    Todd J- Perfect linework bud!
DutchCourage- Perfect... I love how you always add those little eyes in there
    MLomaka- very kool wagon!
Cixpack- Sooo Kool.. love the process!
DustDevil- I know it's painted like a bomber but I was thinkn "Piggy Tank"
DanGreenburg- Awesome shots as always.. love the Impala head on shot
Dankyd- Nice painting style... livens up an old junker in the woods!
    Dart165- I dig the patina
Robschwager- Perfection! Starbursts and boomerangs were a great touch!
Jigger- The last car is funny.. reminds me of the Big Leboski's car
LowCab- Tikis are A OK with me!

Hood of my unibody, based on my now ex girlfriend. Hate to sand it off, but getting to the point I might letter "you could be here" over it in red.

    What a photo... Love it!!!!

  28. I was looking through my photo "archives" the other day and came across some Rick Bone's 33 delivery. Its one of the local rides that set the hook for me at a very young age and reeled me into the hobby. I brought it into Photoshop to resize it to use as my background on my Mac in my classroom, well one thing lead to another and well....here you go.....
